I know, I know. I’ve been away from here for a hot minute. But February was so overwhelming for me. It was the combination of everything – old stuff coming up, long dreadful hours of work and feeling frustrated at myself for not kicking off 2023 “right” (what is right anyway? hmm).
But! Before I launch into what you can expect from life/the energies in the air in the upcoming weeks, I’m super happy to share that two of my books are out! Completely self-published – so all of your support counts!

2 years ago, in 2021 I was simply toying with the idea of writing a proper book. I had lot of insights to share with people who were struggling with the same things I did, but I was terribly daunted by the idea of writing, putting it out there and having to figure the platform out on my own.
Fast forward 2 years, 1.5 actually, and it’s all here. Shall tell you more about what I learnt about myself throughout the entire process another day 😉
Spring Equinox Energy + Other Energy shifts
I’m excited for Spring! It’s in the air, and for many people it’s when the year truly begins. Jan/Feb felt alot like shedding of old stuff. Not sure about you, but I was tired, annoyed and really going through it! March energy does feel a lot better with a greater ease around life.
If you are spiritually-inclined, and even if you are not – these are some general energetic shifts that you can prepare yourself to welcome in with the turn of the seasons
- Spring Equinox + New Moon in Aries. This is the big one in spiritual circles, it’s coming up on the 20th/21st of March and is occuring together with the New Moon in Aries at 0 degrees. Aries is the first sign in the Western Zodiac and everything about these combo is just screaming – Stake your claim in the ground and start planting new seeds. What do you plan to prioritise in the next 3 months til the Summer Solstice at the end of June? Who would you like to have become by then? What habits and rituals can you start putting in place to get you where you want to be? Personally I’m going to be looking at expanding my business, easing into a new self-care ritual and cooking healthier meals.
- Saturn in Pisces: Saturn – known amongst the mainstream masses as the disciplinarian, authoritarian planet moves in spiritual and watery Pisces on 8th of March. You may have felt something in your life shift in the weeks leading up to it and from it – I know I did. I launched my books then, changed big things in my business and made some big financial decisions. Saturn is about structure – so what rituals/habits/routines would you like to start/stop/continue? Being in Pisces – a mutable sign – means that these routines do not always have to look the same. For eg, if you have a meditation ritual, it could look different from day to day, maybe you are into sound healing for a couple of days, then you feel like switching into guided meditation for the rest of the week. It’s also time to shed those habits that haven’t been working for you – for good.
In summary – March’s energy feels very different from the start of the year and it’s calling us to be bolder, to create new habits to take us from where we are now to where we want to be, and ironically, it’s also calling us to learn how to rest and relax.
The past 2-3 years have been a long onslaught of doing and surviving that some of us – many of us – have forgotten what it feels like to rest and do the things that we want to. Let’s start showing ourselves some love without feeling any guilt or shame.
