Oh It’s April! And we are deep into the Aries season! I love, love, love Aries energy haha. I have alot of it in my personal chart and I just love how bold, brash, fiery and courageous Aries is. So being one with Aries energy this month is important.
What seeds would we like to plant? What do we want to start doing? How can we be more bold, courageous and fiery in parts of our lives? Which parts of our lives require more of this energy?
April – astrological events to look forward to
The biggest event in April is the Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Aries on April 20th. The eclipses of previous years were very heavy and transformative. On the Taurus/Scorpio axis, it always feels heavy and like things in your life have to be let go of in huge ways. Scorpio energy is like that and what’s more both signs are fixed.
I’m excited about the Solar eclipse though (a partial one), partly because I absolutely LOVE Aries energy, as an Aries Mooner myself and in other parts of my chart and it’s also the second New Moon in Aries in a row (the last one was a couple of weeks ago).
Aries is a Fire Sign, the first sign of the zodiac and well, it is Aries season now!! To me, it really represents Chariot energy (The Tarot Major Arcana card/energy of the year) and the energy aligned with it is just to get whatever you need started and get going. Don’t overthink it, don’t sit too much in your feels or thoughts but to just get through.
One foot in front of the other. Think about what your Future Self 6 months down the road would thank you for if you started work on whatever it is you needed to right now.
Eclipse energy will also test you a little. It’ll be like hey, are you sure this is the right path? You sure this is what you want to be doing? If the answer is a yes, commit to it and lock it down. Think back to where you were and how your life was at the previous Eclipse season – have you made the changes you were supposed to? Have you shed the things and beliefs that have not been working for you? Has your life changed in a way that you’ve hoped?
If not, how can you turn things around this Eclipse?
Tarot card energy to pay attention to
As I am channeling and writing up this section, a few of the Tarot cards are making themselves known. They would be the ones to guide our energy this April.
Fool
Fool from the Major Arcana. The Fool is coming through and telling you to explore and do things with a sense of carefree-ness and wonder, just like a 4 year old who isn’t bogged down by the world and by society yet. Don’t let others tell you what to do, feed your curiosity and nudges, explore, be adventurous and you will encounter things and people that you’ve been wanting to, on this journey. Travel. Be open to unexplored spaces, groups and territory
Devil
I’ve always loved the Devil, it holds hidden lessons for all of us. This April, the Devil is here to test you. Are you sure you are ready for the change you want? Are you ready to transform your life? You ready to step out of your comfort zone or are you just going to stay where you are and hope that life will be different?
The Devil is always here to tempt us and to test us. You sure you are heading where you say you are or are you just paying lip service? You ready to make the moves or are you just being a hypocrite? The Devil ensures that we are aligned – our thoughts, actions, values. And it is here to check that you are following through with your words and not tempted to drop back into your old habits and comfort zones.
All 4 Page cards
Page cards are very similar to the Fool. They are curious, willing to play and learn. There are filled with creative ideas and messages. They help kickstart the process. What would you like to get started this month? A new way of being? Something always been brewing at the back of your mind but you’ve always been quite unsure where and how to begin? Tap into the energy of the Pages to help guide you!
All 4 Knight cards
Knights are the ones in action. They take the idea that the Page has and run with it. They learn along the way, they pick themselves up when they are down and carry on. They don’t give up. Recall the Knight characters we’ve seen in shows – they are brave, always on the move and they never let something deter them. They act, they move on.
Very Aries and Chariot energy actually. So whatever it is you are working on and trying to get started with Page energy, call in your Knights and start to put together an action plan. Then execute it. When things don’t seem to be working, change your strategy and keep going. You will get wherever you need to eventually.
10 of Cups
This card is coming through to tell you that you are loved. You have a whole support network cheering for you – friends, family, your pets, your Higher Self, your Guides and so many more. You are not as along as you think you are and there is always someone waiting to embrace you at the finishing line.
Whenever you get down about something on your quest or your journey, just remember what awaits you at the end and that there are people around you that will always love you and have your back. You will always have your own back too.
