Card of the Month/Season: 7 of wands + 8 of cups – Pain, self-care & transformation
We are nearing the end of the year! It hasn’t been easy for any of us, we are all collectively recovering from the effects of Covid, which have impacted us in more ways than one. We are all feeling the grind.
These cards are here to remind this month to take a step back and take a break. You may have been feeling vulnerable and tired, fatigued. Things that you were once into and once felt passionate about no longer interest you. Journeys that you have been on are coming to an end.
These things can make you feel lonely, down, confused and lost. With the weight of what the world is going through and navigating all the new challenges that mankind as a whole has never been through before, it can feel downright overwhelming and upsetting.
This month, embrace the transformations that are coming your way. Dive deep into what you have been hiding away from. Face your pain and fears – these changes are big and will bring about huge shifts in your life. Cords will be cut, past habits gotten rid of, a new you is emerging.
Just remember to look after yourself and your energy – protection, ground yourself and cleanse your space whenever you can, and as often as you can. When energies are high, all the more you need

Card of the week: 4th October – 8 of pentacles, working hard at the expanse of you
Have you been hard at work, tolling away at what you are doing? Have you been too inward-focused recently, at the expanse of everyone else and everything else going on in the world? It can feel really difficult to be out there in the world right now, with all the chaos and readjusting we need to do.
However, isolating yourself from the world and from others can make you feel even more

Card of the week: 11th October – 2 of swords, hiding from the truth
This week, you feel pulled in different directions. Your head says one thing and your heart says another. The options you have in front of you all seem good enough and you are feeling indecisive.
Actually, you DO know the answer deep down, you may be feeling afraid of owning up to it and making a hard choice. Ask yourself why? What beliefs and fears are holding you back from making the decision? Dig a little deeper (that’s the theme of this month!) and the answer will be revealed to you.
Remember to trust yourself, your intuition and higher source – you always know what to do.
Card of the week: 18th October – The Hierophant, sticking to conventions
This week, you may be feeling like you need to stick to the conventional, comfortable way of doing things. You may not be feeling very adventurous or willing to try a new path or way of thought. And that is okay! See where you are feeling the urge not to do something different and note the feelings coming up for you.
Sometimes, the desire to stay in our comfort zones and stick to what we already know has alot to do with the fear of uncertainty, the fear of novelty, of trying out something new. We are afraid of change.
But as the past year has taught us, change is the only constant these days. If you find yourself holding back from change, ask yourself what about it that makes you shy away? How can you face it head-on instead?

Card of the week: 25th October – 2 of wands, feeling stuck
This week, you might be feeling indecisive, stuck and unable to move forward on your path. You may also be feeling the effects of the pandemic and the inability to travel, to plan ahead and having your plans put on hold. This can bring up strong feelings of frustration and sadness. Many of us have had big personal plans put on hold – weddings, buying homes, graduation ceremonies, jobs have fallen through.
Our lives have been turned upside down and it can feel very demoralising. When you feel stuck, you are focused on the lack in your life, what you have been “missing” out on.
Instead, focus on the feelings of what you have gained so far in your life, the excitement of alternative plans that you have been making. With the “new normal” what plans can you make instead? Look forward to those.
