Review: Weather – Jenny Offill

Sonia Post a comment

What worked:

I’m usually not a fan of alot of contemporary authors who have a habit of writing a novel which just reads like a smattering of their diary entries. This one followed a similar style, but somehow it sorta worked for me and I made it through the end.

What did not work:

However, like many previous readers, I felt that if I put down the book for too long, I may not be able to remember what happened. In fact, I can’t remember at all now what the book was really about.

The chapters are were also too random. Also, there is no link with climate change…. so the title was a little misleading.

Overall ratings: 3/5 stars
