What worked:
The book still kept up with its themes of turning simple, day to day events and occurrences into creepy and near-death situations. This was the thing I loved most about the stories, it had a Final Destination feel. The stories are not supernatural as such – at least not to me – but some stories did make you wonder if such things existed in reality.
What did not work:
However, I didn’t find the stories as interesting or shocking as the ones from the first instalment. Except for Twisted Cottage and The Sound of Murder, the rest felt half-baked and rushed, and weren’t at all creepy or supernatural.
