Note: For this reading, I’ve chosen the Light-seer’s Tarot Deck by Chris-Anne and Stacey Demarco’s Queen of the Moon Oracle Deck, the latter of which I’m loving so far, as it’s given me very on point responses for all my readings.

New Moon in Sagittarius: Death – Transformation
This card is so apt for the Eclipse and the end-of-season vibes! I personally really love this card as it usually means change and transformation is on the horizon. Today, you have to make a decision to let go or “kill off” what is not working for you and in doing so, you will be “reborn”. This means, that a new you is waiting to emerge but you really need to put a hard-stop on what hasn’t been working and embrace change.
Many of us are afraid of change. We like to stay in the status quo and in our comfort zones. But that means we are stagnant, we don’t grow or realise our potential. Look back at the year and think about what hasn’t been working for you. It’s time to let in some new and better things, but you need to make space for them by letting go of the old.
Attraction:
Aligned with our death card, this card shows that it’s time to start attracting what you want and repelling what you do not want in your life. Be honest about what you really want, and be discerning about it. Blindly attracting anything and everything may seem good at first, but consider what attracting those things into your life brings. Be focused in your attraction.
First Quarter Moon in Pisces: 3 of Swords – Releasing Heartbreak
Oof. Another quite “painful” card. This card carries more “active energy” which is telling of the moon phase we are in. First Quarter Moon phases are always great for starting you energy and pursuing what you intended to on the New Moon. Here, we are still carrying energy from the Eclipse. We have all been carrying around so much of pain and agony for so long. It’s time to release them. Grief, mourn, cry. Pour out all your emotions in a letter to someone who has disappointed you – but don’t send it.
Start working on your blocks. And then cleanse your energy and move on. You will feel like you’ve reached a point where you are starting to learn your life lessons. There’s much emotional release this time around and feels like the crap is being cleared from your life.
Cry but do remember to draw the line at wallowing in your emotions for too long. Feel those emotions, release them and move on to the plans you’ve already got in mind for yourself.

Beginnings:
In line with the tarot card pulled for this phase, beginnings signal new starts. You’ve experienced several heartbreaks along the way and have grieved for it, but now is the time to embark on a new beginning. Beginnings don’t have to be a huge deal, it could be as simple as taking that very small first step on your big goal. As long as you get the ball rolling!
Full Moon in Gemini: 3 of Cups – Celebrate your relationships
Such an apt card for the Gemini Full Moon. And so representative of the holiday season! It’s the ripe time to catch up with friends and family. Celebrate what you’ve achieved together or individually. Feel the blessings and abundance through your social connections. Look back at how far you’ve come and reminisce on your achievements. Have fun!
Release:
Yes, let it goooo. As we are moving into the New Year and you are reflecting on what has happened, it’s time to let go of bad habits. Things that you no longer want in your life, release it. People that you no longer align with, thank them for the time spent and let them go. More awaits you, but you have to make space in your life first.
Last Quarter Moon in Virgo: 4 of Cups –
Again, not a negative card. It’s the time of meditation and reflection as it is the last week of the year and we are moving into a new calendar year. As you are reflecting on what you’ve achieved and not achieved, there could be a sense of disappointment. Maybe something you planned for did not happen or you are not where you want to be. But traditionally, the 4 in tarot is a chance to grow, evolve and move forward. A New Year awaits you. Despite what is happening in our outside world, we shouldn’t stop setting goals and dreaming. What are you dreaming of for next year? Lay down your dreams now and go get them.
Patience:
This is a reminder, that not everything is meant to come to us as quickly as they wish they do. The Universe/Source/God usually has other plans, and things happen in their own Divine Timing. Sometimes, you need to learn something, grow in a specific way or experience some things in life first before you are granted your wish. Be patient and trust that if it is meant for you, it will happen, and nothing will stop it from happening.
